Dr. Côté is a professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the Université de Montréal and a researcher at the Center de recherche of the University Hospital of Montreal (CRCHUM). She holds the Research Chair in Innovative Nursing Practices at the Université de Montréal. 

Dr. Côté earned her Bachelor of Nursing Sciences from Laval University, and obtained her master’s degree from University of Montreal. She completed her Ph.D. at McGill University.

Dr. Côté’s research focuses on the development and evaluation of innovative nursing practices (e-health) for patients with chronic health problems.

She is currently co-principal investigator of CTN 288: LHIVE Healthy with Dr. Cécile Tremblay. The main objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of web-based interventions in supporting people living with HIV (PLHIV) to adopt healthy behaviours (stopping smoking, exercising more, and eating better).
