Dr. Doyle is an associate scientist in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology at the Ottawa Hospital. She also holds the position of endocrinologist at the Ottawa Hospital, in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism.

Dr. Doyle began her studies in England and later moved to Canada to receive her Doctor of Medicine from McMaster University. She then completed her residency at the University of Ottawa, and obtained a certificate in endocrinology and metabolism and a Master of Science degree in epidemiology.

Dr. Doyle was a CTN Postdoctoral Fellow, and received a CTN Postdoctorate Fellow Award in 2013-2014. She is an investigator for CTNPT 019, a pilot trial investigating whether Metformin can prevent the progression of liver fibrosis in HCV-HIV co-infected and HCV mono-infected patients with insulin resistance.
