Dr. Claire Kendall is a Scientist and Professor in a number of prominent research institutes in Ontario, Canada. She is a Scientist in the Bruyère Research Institute, an Adjunct Scientist of the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences, and an Affiliate Scientist in the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael’s Hospital. Further, she is an Associate Professor in the School of Epidemiology and Public Health and Department of Family Medicine in the University of Ottawa.

Dr. Kendall’s academic career began at the University of Ottawa where she received her BSc in Biochemistry and earned her Doctorate in Medicine three years later. She earned her Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Following, she returned to the University of Ottawa and completed a Ph.D. in Epidemiology.

Dr. Kendall’s research focuses on primary care treatment for vulnerable populations with a particular focus on people with HIV.
