The CTN – CIHR Canadian HIV Trials Network - Research for treatments, prevention and a cure

In 2008, after a formal international peer review, CIHR awarded the CTN an excellent rating of 4.2 out of 5. In a move to align the Network with the well-respected Canadian research organization, the CTN added CIHR to its existing name to become the CIHR Canadian HIV Trials Network. The Network is still referred to as the "CTN". With this added support, CTN investigators are intensifying their efforts in four core research areas:

1. Clinical Management Science
2. Co-infections & Concurrent Diseases
3. Prevention & Vulnerable Populations
4. Vaccines & Immunotherapies
